CARACH ANGREN Re-Records Three Older Songs
March 22, 2011Dutch symphonic black metal act CARACH ANGREN has issued the following update:
"After some very hard work, we can finally reveal a piece of what we have been doing.
"Because of the enormous fan requests, we decided to re-record three older songs! You can now listen to the first one, 'Ethereal Veiled Existence 2011', which was the title track on our 2005 release.
"The re-recordings, mixing and mastering were done by Rob Fox and CARACH ANGREN.
"We have uploaded a brand new teaser featuring samples of all the re-recorded demo songs! These songs will be made available for download in the coming weeks so get in there and try to discover the titles..
"The video was edited by Rob Fox and features footage from the latest recordings, our European tour in 2010 and a special surprise at the end. The footage is presented in the same style which you encounter in all our video material so far; dark...metal... and highly enjoyable!"
CARACH ANGREN's second album, "Death Came Through A Phantom Ship", was released in early 2010 via Maddening Media. The CD was recorded at Tidal Wave Studio in Karlsdorf, Germany.
CARACH ANGREN's previous concept album, "Lammendam", was released in April 2008 via Maddening Media, the label run by LE GRAND GUIGNOL singer Philip Breuer.
